POSITION SUMMARY

As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will support and improve the business applications used by the Liberty Diversified International (LDI) Packaging business. This position focuses on ERP solutions and other related business systems. Responsibilities include facilitating collaboration across our user base, working with teams to implement changes, and encouraging the usage of available features.

The Sr. Business Analyst will report to the Application Manager at our corporate headquarters in New Hope, MN. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Provide high-quality, hands-on support for key business applications.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
  • Support and troubleshoot daily issues with the ERP system, MES system, Warehouse Management System, Workflow system, and Reporting.
  • Design and create new workflows along with improving existing workflows.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to modifications to business applications.
  • Define and maintain data standards and hierarchies to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Develop logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Work closely with application users to appreciate their perspective and assist with training.
  • Lead the development of testing plans and conduct unit testing.
  • Investigate new features of business applications and related technology.
  • Proactively insert yourself into the business units and suggest areas for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members, vendors, and business users to ensure seamless integration of solutions.
  • Assist with new system implementations and rollouts for new business units or acquired businesses.
  • Lead or assist with upgrades and updates to business systems.
  • Maintain application-level role-based security.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot web, Citrix, or applications servers as needed.
  • Work with SQL to access, update, and manipulate data in the SQL Server database.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS      

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with an ERP system, end-user support, and in a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience with an MES or WMS
  • Familiarity with Windows applications and backend server environment
  • Must be highly organized, capable of effective time management, and self-directed.
  • Strong self-starter with a sense of urgency.
  • Effectively work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization as well as external partners or vendors.
  • Ability to build and foster relationships with our customers by becoming a part of the business.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while juggling competing projects.
  • Frequently requires analytical reasoning skills, seasoned judgment, and creativity.
  • Experience making independent decisions with financial or operational impact.
  • Receives minimal guidance; works independently in a complex environment to achieve goals, providing recommendations to management.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS      

  • Amtech Imaginera or Encore ERP experience
  • eProductivity Suite’s CTI MES experience
  • ESKO WebCenter and ESKO Automation Engine experience
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment which supports diverse business across the US and Mexico

  • Up to 10% US travel, depending on future projects.
  • Up to two days per week remote work for employees in good standing and with manager approval.
