Safco Design & Innovation Intern

POSITION SUMMARY

The position is a summer intern role within the Safco Product and Marketing team.  As part of the team, you will be focused on activities related to design and innovation. The role offers valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, contributing to the ideation and creation of innovative solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct various types of research, such customer insights and industry analysis.
• Perform gap analyses to identify areas for improvement or innovation.
• Draft design specifications based on research findings and input from the team.

• Collaborate with manager and team members to capture various activities related to product design and innovation.
• Other duties, as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Some exposure to digital marketing or graphic design beyond high school level.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly PowerPoint.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the simultaneously.
• Collaborative and supportive team player.
• Self-motivated and dedicated work ethic.
• High School education.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Pursuing a college degree in related field.
