POSITION SUMMARY     
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will support and improve the business applications used by the LDI family of companies.  This position focuses specifically on the workflow toolset and managing master data within the primary business systems.   This will include facilitating collaboration across our user base, working with teams to implement changes, and encouraging usage of available features. The Sr. Business Analyst will report to the Application Manager located at our corporate headquarters in New Hope, MN.      
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES      
  • Providing high quality, hands-on support for key business applications
  • Gathering, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements
  • Owning the workflow and project management toolset (ESKO Webcenter & Automation Engine)
  • Designing and creating new workflows along with improving existing workflows
  • Developing and maintaining documentation related to modifications to business applications
  • Defining and maintaining data standards, classifications, and hierarchies to ensure a single source of truth
  • Developing logical and innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Work closely with applications users to appreciate their perspective and assist with training
  • Lead the development of testing plans and conduct unit testing
  • Investigate new features of applications and related technology
  • Proactively Insert yourself into the businesses and suggest areas for process improvement
  • Act as point person on behalf of the team and gain the trust and confidence of other team members and end users
  • Collaborating with IT teams, vendors, and business units to ensure seamless integration of solutions
  • Assisting with new systems implementations and rollouts to new business units or acquired businesses
  • Maintaining application-level role-based security
  • Other duties, as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS      
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • At least 5 years of experience with ERP or MES or CRM systems and business processes
  • At least 5 years of experience with end user support
  • Must be extremely organized, capable of good time management, and self-directed
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency, ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within the organization as well as external partners or vendors
  • Ability to build relationships with our customers by becoming a part of the business
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while juggling competing projects in a complex environment
  • Ability to respond effectively and quickly to internal and external demands
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience; uses best practices and knowledge to improve products or services
  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Frequently requires logical and analytical reasoning skills, seasoned judgment, creativity, and ingenuity
  • Independent decisions typically have financial, operational, legal, or image impact
  • Receives minimal guidance; works independently to achieve goals, providing expert recommendations to management
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS      
  • ESKO Webcenter and ESKO Automation Engine experience
  • Amtech’s Imaginera or Encore ERP experience
  • eProductivity Suite’s CTI  MES experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM experience
  • Familiarity with Windows applications and backend server environment
  • Experience working in a Shared Services environment which supports diverse business across the US and Mexico
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS      
The physical demands of this position are those typical for an office employee.  They include working in front of a computer for long periods of time and some travel to business locations. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.       
Up to 10% travel may be needed, US travel only.       
Up to 2 days per week remote work is allowed for good performers and at the manager’s discretion.
